Tournament Setup

This season we will be fishing for Stripers! They are fun to fish and put on quite the fight!

The tournament will be held on Sunday, April 27th, 2025. It will be a 6-hour tournament, starting at 1:15 PM and ending at 7:15 PM.

In order to participate in the 2025 Fish On Tournament, you would need to raise or donate $1,500.

There will be about 5-6 fishers per boat (we will try and accommodate larger family sizes).

The prize will be up to $18,000 depending on the number of boats in the tournament. (Every boat adds $1k to the prize, capped at $18k)

The winner of the heaviest Striper will be awarded the grand prize, and a smaller prize will be awarded to the 2nd place winner of the heaviest Striper. $1,000 will be split between the other participants on the winners boats. The first place winner will get 70% of the remaining prize, and the other 30% goes to the 2nd place winner.

For example, assuming there are 18 Boats in the tournament, the prize will be $18,000. $2,000 will be reserved for the team members of both the winners, which leaves us with $16,000. 70% of the $16,000 which is $11,200 will go to the first place winner, while the remaining 30% of the $16,000, which is $4,800 will go to the 2nd place winner.
